I've been wanting to try a pair of Klipsch speakers for a long time, the opportunity arose last Saturday with a good deal at Richer Sounds Hull and a pair of RP500M ii were purchased. Although it was quite late in the day they were delivered on Monday by DPD at 10.30am, how's that for service.
I always thought the RP600's would be the speaker I bought, but looking on the internet the RP500M ii's seemed to get the vote over the 600's.
They now have approx 30hrs on the clock and I have to say I'm really enjoying them, couldn't be more different from my Tuolihao's which have a laid back sound, these are fast and energetic. I've also 'borrowed' my brother's Townshend bars which were replaced by Stack Audio Auva 100's, further experimentation is still needed and I may buy a couple of acoustic panels after disposing of the cheap foam squares I had in the room before re-decorating.
What to do with the Tuolihao's, well I may ship them over to Cambodia, I came across a company called My Baggage whose rates seemed more reasonable than the larger more well known ones, but I will have to check the prices out again.
