CD players for NVA amplification

Dear NVA hive mind,

I'm looking for a CD player and thinking of an NVA amplifier also, but am not sure quite where to start... Also, I have the problem that if I think of, e.g. Leema or Rega (that's my sort of price range, their cheapest offerings), then surely these would go best with Leema or Rega amplifiers... or... might go worse with other amplifiers such as NVA. So, I'd be interested in views and what kind of CD player people find works with NVA. I'm not interested in streaming (thanks...) for various reasons. I don't have lots of time and energy for auditioning - I'm sure when I do settle on something it will be great. My old Musical Fidelity A3 CD player gave up recently..., and my amplifier is from the Ark.

All thoughts welcome! Andrew Gilbert.

Hi Andrew please understand this is just my opinion but NVA will go well with any CD you choose . But in my view that is not the relstionship you should be most concerned about . Far more important is the amp speaker interface this will decide how your music will be presented and how you listen . Get that right and any CD you choose will be fine . Audiolab are used by NVA themselves and having heard that combo I knowbthey work well so thatis one pisdibility.

Many thanks, Bencat, that's great - I value your opinion! I in fact have an Audiolab tuner (8000T) so that would go well...

That's Noah's Ark by the way, not a misspelt hi-fi manufacturer...
