I am very impressed with this CD ripping programme which is superior to NCH Express Rip which I had previously been using. NCH was poor where it came to metadata, especially art work. Tut this is not an issue with dBpoweramp which can also rip write protected CDs. I did not think this was possible. I have one CD where a track would not rip with NCH, but it has with dBpoweramp. Sound quality wise it is difficult to detect a difference, but on some CDs there seems to be a very subtle improvement. I am in the process of re-ripping CDs and when the trial period expires I will make the purchase.
