I was at Gateshead on bank holiday Monday with a couple of thousand fellow 'Shrimpers' to watch the mighty Southend United secure an end of season play offs place with a nerve wracking nil-nil draw. We made some friends at the local boozer, too...

Our girls lost to a 91st-minute winner away at Chelsea today, in the WSL. Bugger! I thought we were about to come away with a great point on the road. It cost us a place in the final league table too. Still, at least we finished above Everton. (y)❤️

Life long Liverpool fan and been going to the match on season ticket for overbthirty years . Sadly as I have a disability which means I can not stand up and the rest of the crowd does I miss things like goals and end up seeing them on highlights . Complained to the club but got nothing we can do reply . So the Spurs game will be my last not going to renew for next season . Instead will go and watch all the televised games with my brother have a meal either before or after depending on kick off times . Will enjoy the company and the Guiness we will no doubt drink . Fantastic season for us this year still can nit stop smiling .

Have you tried contacting the LDSA to see if they can help?

Sadly yes and they did not respond or even answer they had recieved my message for two weeks . Then out of the blue they answered and spouted the same sort of shrug response there is nothing we can do that the club did . I seem to get the impression that these fan attachments are more to give an appearance of inclusion than a real voice for those with disabilities . Need to leave it alone now as if I think about it too much will just get more worked up about it . I have no control or leverage as the club actively make clear they want fewer season ticket holders and would prefer none of what they refer to as legacy fans . We do not buy shirts andbother merchandise on match day nor do we drink or eat in the ground so what they want is fresh new fans for every game .

On the way home from Manchester after watching the mighty Shrimpers comeback last night against Rochdale, from 3-1 down on 73 minutes to 4-3 winners after extra time.

Having also bitten my nails all through Sunderland s injury time of extra time win against Coventry on Tuesday... I'm not sure I can take much more of this 🤣🤣⚽👍
