DQ is correct that the forum was never going to be the same again after Richard passed.
We kept it going for 6 years after his death, partly because it was once the main source for NVA links in Google search results, and partly out of respect as a reference library / legacy of Richard's thoughts on NVA and his impact on the industry and it's associated forums.
The NVA website has outperformed the forum in search results for a couple of years, so the commercial incentive has disappeared, and we now stand on our own feet as NVA, rather than on Richard's shoulders.
