Stack Audio Auva feet

Not mentioned these here but the 50,s have been attached to my Quads for quite a while and really made a good improvement . As you move up the range things improve but they also get quite costly . I had avoided hearing either the 70,s or 100,s as if they were to prove really effective I knew they would then mean I had to consider them . Then at the Northwest Show Arke Audio teamed up with Stack Audio and used 70,s with two stands to demonstrate the difference . Well it convinced me and as I got to see how large the 100,s were U knew there was no way I could live with them under my stands but I had to get a set 70,s and they arrived today . Value for money does not come in to this they are not cheap . I fitted them and as per when I fitted the 50,s they sounded not very good they sort of disjointed the whole sound and had treble sounding screetchy and bass dominating . You have to be patient these are filled with lots of little minerals and they need time to settle . Three hours later and the results are so much better everything has fallen back in to place worth the bass developing texture and sounding realistic . Treble is just wonderful with lots of detail but not in your face just there if you want to listen in to it or not if you just want feel the vibes . I have screwed my feet to my stands Stack advise directly to the speakers but that is a step too far for me and the difference is I think quite small . I think these feet really work and there is real science from the petrochemical industry behind how they work . Stack offer a sixty day trial so you can give them a try and if they are not for you send them back definite thumbs up from me and another small UK company carving a niche .
