View from your listening chair

A shot I took earlier this week. My listening position has to be offset as one corner is the kitchen with a worktop coming out into the room. Having a chair in the typical position also doesn't work in this room as it is square and so all the frequencies tend to get pushed around the edges.. There is ZERO bass in the typical listening position. (but I have ridiculous bass issues around 38hz everywhere else) .. OB subs help because they interact with the room differently but I rarely sit between the speakers anyway. It's also why I have a dual mono preamp.
Bikes currently taking up the space where the plant would usually live... Just while I dry build and faff around finalising the build, the speakers are pushed back to accommodate working around the bike but are usually a metre from the wall

Excuse the lighting but it's dark in that corner.

There's another system in the house but this is the one I use daily.

L-R:

A pair of NVA A40 monoblocks.
Different cases, same internals.
Currently on the reserve bank.

Shelf above, a TEAC TN-4D-SE direct drive deck with Sumiko Oyster. Sounds wonderful.

2x Ayima A07 MAX Class D monoblock power amps. Tiny, cheap, amazing.

NVA P50 'Big Knob' pre-phono amp that has been doing it's thing for 40 years. PSU is sat under Nik Kershaw.

Little Sabaj tube headphone amp.

Denafrips Ares II. The best DAC I've ever heard (and a lot have come and gone).

Cambridge CXC CD transport. Simple, but effective.

Right - one of a pair of the original version of the Arcam One loudspeakers. Gorgeous. Also been with me for 40 years.

Out of shot: NVA BMU and a converted desktop PC that does streaming duties from a NAS and Tidal.

Cables:
I/c - DH Labs Air Matrix.
Speaker - Oehlbach Silverline SP-40.
