Nik Kershaw 'The Riddle'

1746781381308.jpeg

Continuing my series of 'Albums I Wouldn't Have Been Seen Dead With Back Then' - here we have Nik Kershaw's second LP.

Nik's a talented little fellow, plays serious guitar, handles synths and just about everything else. There a flashes of brilliance here with hints of old-school Jazz-rock and Prog creeping in. There is even a track that could be Signals-era Rush!

Production is slick & glossy 80's synth-pop at its best.

A fantastic album and I'm not even embarrassed to be loving it.
